Reinvigorating homes that are not terribly old can be a tricky business, but when Linda Habak, director at Linda Habak Design was briefed to create a home that ‘evoked joy, not awe’ featuring colour, art and a proliferation of Australian designed products, she had the perfect starting point.

The home, built by its owners seventeen years ago, now houses three teenage boys so a flexible blend of spaces was required “We devised a floor plan that functioned efficiently for both small gatherings with friends and large-scale entertaining, which meant a mix of open plan and intimate spaces,” says Linda.
